During the first Undergraduate Student Association meeting of the semester, the members discussed upcoming events and the success of Winter Welcome Week.
Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations Justin Brown spoke on the success of Winter Welcome Week, which took place Feb. 5-12. The majority of events were held in person, aside from some virtual activities to accommodate remote learning students.
The in-person activities, such as the artificial ice rink, fire pits and Valentine’s grab-n-go, were held outside in the Quad, which offered ample room for there to be proper safety precautions.
“Overall, the events went very well and had positive reviews from the students who participated,” Brown said.
Assistant Director of Student Life Richard Kennedy is working with other clubs to hold featured events for Thursdays in the Quad. These will include a multitude of events similar to those in the fall.
